# Zroom — Product FAQ

## What is Zroom?
An application for invite-only rooms with messages encrypted in the browser. It uses a pixel corridor as its interface.

## How do I create a room?
Choose the create-room door, set an alias and select one, six or twenty-four hours of room access. Share the full invitation with your intended participants.

## Who can read or write in a room?
Anyone holding its full invitation. The invitation contains both the room key and an access credential. Treat it as a secret.

## Are aliases verified?
No. An alias is a display name, not proof of identity. Do not rely on a familiar alias to confirm who is present.

## What encryption is used?
The browser encrypts messages with AES-GCM before sending them to the relay. The room key is carried in the URL fragment and is not submitted to the message API. This design has not been independently audited.

## Does the server see anything?
It receives encrypted message packets and access requests. The hosting provider can still observe connection metadata. Browser encryption is not network anonymity.

## What does the timer do?
It ends access through the relay after the selected 60, 360 or 1440 minutes. It cannot erase screenshots, copied messages, saved keys or information already received. Expired records are cleaned up opportunistically, rather than with a promise of immediate physical erasure.

## Is the local walkthrough a real multiplayer room?
No. It is a clearly labeled local demonstration that encrypts and decrypts messages on the same device. Create a room to exchange messages with another participant.

## What happens if I expose my invitation?
Anyone who obtains it can access the room. Stop using that room and create a new one with a new invitation. Share the replacement privately.

## Is Zroom affiliated with Zcash?
No. Zroom is independent. Its visual privacy narrative does not mean Zcash endorsement or integration. Room messages do not use the Zcash network or its shielded-transaction protocol.

## Does a Zcash token pairing make the chat anonymous?
No. A market pair concerns assets and trading. It does not change the application's message encryption, network metadata or access rules. No active pair is represented in this kit.

## Do I need a wallet to use the room?
The room interface does not require a wallet. Zroom is not a financial service.

## Where is the official CA or social profile?
No token mint, active pair or official social profile was supplied for this kit. Use only separately confirmed announcements and check the exact address. The editable draft fields are not live addresses.
